Netflix just dropped Hulk Hogan: Real American, a four part docuseries featuring the wrestling legend's very last interview before his death in July 2025 at age 71. And it does not hold back.
The Bombshells Keep Coming
The documentary covers everything: Hogan's rise to becoming the biggest name in wrestling, his steroid use, the devastating sex tape scandal that nearly destroyed his career, his friendship with Donald Trump, and the personal demons that haunted him until the end.
In one particularly tense moment, Hogan tells the Netflix producers they "need to stop" asking about his brother's overdose, showing that even in his final interview, some wounds were still too raw.
Critics Are Divided
The series currently holds a 7.4 rating on IMDb, with critics noting that while the first three episodes celebrate Hogan's incredible rise, the fourth episode is where "all the increasingly messy meat" lives. Some critics argue the documentary is too sympathetic, while others praise it for letting Hogan tell his own story one last time.
Whether you loved him or hated him, Hulk Hogan was undeniably one of the most iconic figures in entertainment history. Have you watched it yet?
