Accessibility Statement
Last updated: March 2026
Our Commitment
The Talk Lounge is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
Standards We Follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
What We Do
Semantic HTML structure for screen readers. Sufficient color contrast ratios (AA compliant). Full keyboard navigation support. Alt text for all images. Clear and consistent navigation. Resizable text without loss of functionality. Focus indicators for interactive elements. ARIA labels on buttons and controls.
Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some content may have limitations. User-generated content (comments) may not always meet accessibility standards. We are actively working to improve these areas.
Assistive Technologies
Our website is designed to be compatible with assistive technologies including screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), screen magnification software, and speech recognition software.
Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of The Talk Lounge. If you encounter accessibility barriers or have suggestions, please email socials@thetalklounge.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
