Community Guidelines

The Talk Lounge is a community for entertainment fans. We want everyone to feel welcome and safe. These guidelines apply to all user-generated content including comments, profiles, and messages.

Be respectful and civil in all interactions

Share your opinions constructively

Report content that violates these guidelines

Use your real name or a consistent username

Engage with the content and community positively

Credit original sources when sharing information

❌ Do Not

Harass, bully, or threaten other users

Post hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory content

Share personal information of others (doxxing)

Spam, self-promote, or post repetitive content

Impersonate other users, celebrities, or staff

Post misleading information or conspiracy theories

Moderation

Our moderation team reviews flagged content and may remove comments or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Decisions are made at our discretion. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned.

Enforcement

First violation: Warning. Second violation: 7-day comment suspension. Third violation: Permanent ban. Severe violations (threats, doxxing, hate speech) result in immediate permanent ban.

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error or your account was suspended unfairly, you may appeal by emailing socials@thetalklounge.com with your username and the content in question. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

Reporting

Use the report button on any comment to flag it for review. You can also email socials@thetalklounge.com with a link to the content. All reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
