Corrections Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Accuracy is fundamental to our credibility. When we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and transparently. We believe our readers deserve to know when and how corrections are made.
Types of Corrections
Minor corrections (typos, formatting, minor factual updates) are made directly in the article. Significant corrections (factual errors that change the meaning of a story) are noted with a correction notice at the top of the article including the date and nature of the correction. Retractions are issued when an entire article is found to be substantially inaccurate.
How to Report an Error
If you spot an error in any of our articles, please email socials@thetalklounge.com with the article URL, the error you found, and any supporting information. We review all error reports within 24 hours.
Our Process
When an error is reported: 1) We verify the claim against our sources. 2) If confirmed, we correct the article immediately. 3) We add a correction notice for significant errors. 4) We notify the reporter that the correction has been made.
Transparency
We do not silently edit articles to remove errors. All significant corrections are documented with timestamps. Our goal is to maintain trust with our readers through honest and transparent journalism.
Updates vs. Corrections
Developing stories are regularly updated with new information. These updates are not corrections. We label updates with timestamps (e.g., 'Updated March 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM') to distinguish them from corrections of errors.
