"I'm going after your dogs!" Kentucky Man Threatens to Shoot Wife Then Sets Her Dogs on Fire After Affair Exposed

Pure Evil in Kentucky

A 37-year-old Kentucky man allegedly threatened to shoot his wife and then set two of her dogs on fire after she confronted him about having an affair and possibly fathering a child with another woman. He reportedly told her: "If we didn't have a daughter together, I'd shoot you."

Read that again. The only thing stopping him from killing his wife, according to his own words, was the existence of their daughter. Not morality. Not love. Not basic human decency. Just the inconvenience of having a shared child. That is the mind of an abuser laid bare.

He Set the Dogs on Fire

When threatening to murder his wife was not enough to satisfy his rage, the suspect turned his violence toward her pets. He allegedly set two dogs on fire. Living, breathing animals that did nothing wrong were burned because a man could not handle being confronted about his own infidelity.

Animal abuse is one of the strongest predictors of escalating violence toward humans. Studies consistently show that people who harm animals are significantly more likely to harm people. This man has already threatened to kill his wife. The dogs were a warning of what he is capable of.

The Affair That Started It All

The confrontation began when the wife discovered evidence of her husband's affair and the possibility that he had fathered a child with another woman. Instead of taking accountability for his actions, he responded with threats of lethal violence and actual violence against innocent animals.

This is a textbook abuser response: when caught doing wrong, escalate the situation so dramatically that the victim becomes too afraid to hold you accountable. It is a control tactic designed to ensure she never confronts him again.

He Is in Custody

The suspect has been arrested and is facing multiple charges including terroristic threatening, animal cruelty, and arson. If convicted on all counts, he faces significant prison time. More importantly, his wife and daughter are safe from him for now.
