Druski will host Saturday Night Live on November 7, becoming the first digital content creator ever to take the Studio 8H stage as host of the show.
NBC confirmed the booking on November 4. The Strokes will perform as the musical guest for the episode, which airs live from New York on Saturday night.
Druski, whose real name is Drew Desbordes, built his name on Instagram sketches starting in 2017, then turned viral characters and the Coulda Been Records franchise into one of the biggest comedy audiences on the internet. Now he steps onto the most famous sketch comedy stage in American television.
The booking lands in the biggest week of his career so far. On November 2, Netflix announced a multiyear deal with Druski and his company, 4LIFERS Entertainment, to develop and produce original series. The first project, Collect and Praise, premieres December 1 and stars Druski as a money hungry megachurch pastor, with Mike Epps as his unpredictable deacon. Netflix will also license part of his existing library, including Coulda Been Love and Coulda Been Records Auditions.
The run adds to a year of firsts for the 32 year old comedian. He became the youngest host in BET Awards history, landed on the cover of TIME's 2026 TIME100 Next issue, and was ranked number one on Rolling Stone's Most Influential Creator list.
For creators who built their audiences outside of television, the SNL stage has always been the room that decides who gets let in. On Saturday night, Druski walks into that room as the host.
SNL released a promo for the episode on November 4, playing on the moment with Druski joking that he is hosting the last ever episode of the show. The joke lands because the booking itself is the story:
a creator who built his audience on phones and feeds now takes the stage that has launched generations of television comics. For the creator economy, the night is a milestone, and for Druski it is the biggest stage of a career built without waiting for permission from the old gatekeepers.
