When the real property owners eventually discovered the unauthorized sale of land they still owned, they contacted law enforcement and an 11-month investigation began.
Deputies reportedly identified Jackson through distinctive tattoos visible in surveillance footage obtained during the investigation. The tattoos matched those visible in her public appearances on reality television, connecting the suspect to her well-known entertainment persona and ultimately leading to her arrest.
Jackson appeared at a bond hearing via Zoom this week as prosecutors argued the amount should remain high given the severity of the charges and the organized nature of the alleged scheme.
