NBA YoungBoy Says America Is No Longer Home As He Vows To Never Move Back

South Korea Becomes YoungBoy's Unexpected Fresh Start

NBA YoungBoy has officially closed one chapter of his life and opened another nearly 7000 miles away.

During a recent appearance on Funny Marco's Open Thoughts podcast, the Baton Rouge rapper revealed that he has permanently relocated to South Korea and has no plans to return to live in the United States. His comments quickly spread across social media, leaving fans shocked by just how serious he sounded.

One Question Led To A Blunt And Unfiltered Answer

When asked whether he could ever see himself moving back to America, YoungBoy did not hesitate.

His answer was simple.

"Never in life."

The statement immediately sparked reactions online, especially considering how deeply his career and identity have been tied to Louisiana and the United States for more than a decade.

Safety And Peace Played A Major Role In His Decision

YoungBoy explained that South Korea appealed to him because of the environment.

According to the rapper, the country feels safe and clean, two qualities that heavily influenced his decision to settle there. He also joked that the location is "out the way," suggesting that distance from his previous lifestyle may have been exactly what he was looking for.

Life After Prison And A Presidential Pardon Changed Everything

The move comes after several difficult years filled with legal battles, prison time, home confinement, and intense public scrutiny.

In December 2024, YoungBoy was sentenced on federal weapons charges. He was later released in March 2025 after receiving credit for time already served, and in May 2025, he received a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. After the pardon, he publicly thanked Trump for giving him another opportunity to continue growing as a father, artist, and man.

His Family Remains The Center Of His New Life Overseas

Despite moving across the world, YoungBoy made it clear that his children remain his top priority.

When asked how he plans to maintain those relationships while living overseas, he responded by pointing out that airplanes make travel possible.

The message was clear. Distance may have changed his address, but he insists it has not changed his responsibilities as a father.

Retirement Talk Adds Another Twist To The Conversation

His relocation was not the only surprise.

During the same interview, YoungBoy revealed that he believes he only has one or two albums left in him. He also suggested that he plans to do just one more tour before eventually stepping away from the road for good.

A New Country, A New Mindset, And A Completely Different Era

For years, NBA YoungBoy's story was defined by controversy, courtrooms, and chaos.

Now, he is talking about peace, family, and a completely different way of living.

Whether this becomes a permanent transformation or simply another chapter in his unpredictable journey remains to be seen, but one thing is certain.

YoungBoy does not sound like someone looking back.
