Chrisean Rock broke the internet when she got a portrait of Blueface tattooed directly on her face in January 2024. The bold move sparked a massive wave of reactions from fans, critics, and fellow celebrities who could not believe what they were seeing.

Chrisean Rock Got Blueface's Portrait Tattooed On Her Face

On Sunday, January 28, 2024, Chrisean Rock shared a video on Instagram showing herself getting a tattoo of Blueface's face inked onto her own face. The 23 year old mother of Blueface's son, Chrisean Jesus Porter, captioned the post "Free my Daddy out dat slammer," referencing the fact that Blueface was behind bars at the time.

According to TMZ, Blueface, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was incarcerated for violating the conditions of his probation related to a Las Vegas shooting case. He was expected to remain behind bars until at least July 2024.

The Tattoo Shop Confirmed It Was Real

Many fans initially assumed the tattoo was temporary or a publicity stunt. However, the Lakimii Tattoo Shop in West Hollywood, California, where Rock got the work done, confirmed to TMZ that the tattoo was completely real and permanent.

The portrait showed Blueface's face on the right side of Chrisean's face, near her jawline. The detail in the tattoo was notable, with fans pointing out that it was clearly recognizable as Blueface.

Social Media Had A Lot To Say

The reactions were immediate and intense. Some fans praised Chrisean Rock for her bold self expression and loyalty to Blueface, while others questioned the decision to permanently ink someone's face on your own. Memes flooded social media within hours, and the tattoo became one of the most talked about celebrity moments of early 2024.

Critics pointed to the couple's volatile and well documented relationship as a reason why the tattoo was a bad idea. Chrisean and Blueface have had a tumultuous on again, off again relationship that has played out publicly on social media and reality television for years.

Blueface Later Got A Chrisean Tattoo Of His Own

In a twist that surprised no one who follows this couple, Blueface eventually returned the favor. In December 2024, during a jail video call with Chrisean, Blueface revealed that he had gotten Chrisean's name tattooed on his own face, just above his jawline. Chrisean was visibly thrilled, grinning from ear to ear as Blue showed off the ink.

Social media users were not as enthusiastic. One commenter called the couple "two goofies," while another wrote "Oh Lord, not this again." Regardless of public opinion, Chrisean Rock and Blueface continue to prove that their relationship operates on its own set of rules.

The hip hop community continues to react to the developments, with artists, producers, and fans weighing in across social media platforms. In a genre that thrives on authenticity, competition, and unfiltered expression, moments like this become part of the larger cultural conversation that defines each era of the music. The story is still unfolding, and in hip hop, the next chapter is always just one verse, one post, or one interview away from changing everything.
