Quavo is giving fans a roadmap for the year ahead, and it is loaded with music tied to one of hip-hop's most beloved groups. The rapper confirmed that three migos projects 2027 are on the way, including the reunion album fans have hoped for.
Speaking with Complex, Quavo revealed that three Migos-adjacent albums will arrive in 2027. Among them is a Migos reunion album, a new posthumous album from Takeoff, and a collaborative project pairing Quavo and Takeoff.
What The Migos Projects 2027 Slate Includes
The announcement builds on news Quavo shared in September, when he confirmed that he and Offset had been recording together and planned to follow it with a reunion tour. The creative reconnection appears to be gaining real momentum.
It is a striking turn for a group whose future looked uncertain after the tragic loss of Takeoff and the public distance between Quavo and Offset. Now, both the personal and creative sides of that relationship seem to be healing.
For longtime fans, the prospect of a full reunion album carries real weight. Migos helped define a sound and a flow that influenced a generation of rappers, and the group's run was cut short in a way few saw coming. A proper reunion project, paired with new Takeoff material, would give the trio's story a fuller close on their own terms.
Details on timing, tracklists, and features for the 2027 projects remain scarce, and Quavo framed the plans as a preview rather than a firm schedule. Still, hearing him lay out three distinct releases signals that the group's camp has moved from grieving to building, with a clear vision for how to carry the Migos name forward.
How Grief Reshaped The Bond
Quavo has been open about how the death of his nephew and group mate changed his perspective. He told Complex that Takeoff's passing eased the tension that had built up between him and Offset.
"It threw out all the things that I was upset about or that we had friction about. It was enough for me to say, alright, cool. Whatever you're going through, I'll go through with you."
A Solo Album First
Before the 2027 slate arrives, Quavo has his own solo album, QRÖMELIFE, produced entirely by Pharrell. He and Offset are set to reunite on the project, having already debuted their latest collaboration, "Away," which Quavo described as coming from the "2018 pack."
The album is stacked with features, including Tyler, The Creator, A$AP Rocky, T.I., Lil Baby, Future, Justin Timberlake, and Yung Miami. It sets the stage for what is shaping up to be a busy stretch for the Migos camp.

Fans greeted the news with excitement and emotion. As the plans spread through outlets like HotNewHipHop, many celebrated the idea of new Migos music while others focused on the chance to hear Takeoff's voice again through the posthumous project. The emotional weight of that prospect was not lost on supporters.
For now, Quavo is focused on his solo rollout, with the bigger Migos plans waiting in 2027. If the slate comes together as described, next year could be a defining one for the group's legacy. More hip hop coverage is on The Talk Lounge.
There is also a healing element to the plan that resonates beyond the music. By keeping Takeoff at the center of these projects, Quavo is making clear that the group's next chapter is about honoring their late member rather than moving on from him. For fans who grew up on the trio's run, that intention may matter as much as the songs themselves.
